Family Means The World To Me

I will be doing a makeup tutorial on this look <3

I said... give me a kiss!

Their is nothing in this world that means more to me than my family. I have been so blessed to have a very loving and united family. When I was a little girl every Sunday we would all gather at my grandmas house, and when I say all, I mean my grandmas 12 kids (including spouse) and about 25 grand children. I especially remember xmas we would cover the tree to the top with gifts. It's memories like that and the bond that I share with my family that has molded me to be the women I am today. My grandma is my best friend, she's the kind of grandma you can talk to about ANYTHING and she will sit there listen, cry, laugh and share the joy. I couldn't have asked for a better family. I spent the day with part of my family yesterday in Lancaster (which btw I hate the fact that they live so far) we bbq, talked about my wedding (it makes me so happy to see how everyone is so excited)had some yummy food and ended the night with pan dulce and cafe con leche (sweet bread and coffee). It was a perfect Saturday. What are your fondest memories as a child?

Train, Leopard & Stripes

I had such an amazing day yesterday with Dennis, we started off by having lunch on a train in Studio City. I had a huge yummy burger and some fries. After lunch we decided to head over to one of our fav restaurants, Casa Vega in Sherman Oaks to enjoy some margaritas (which by the way they were delish). Around 11pm I started craving dessert so Dennis and I went on a hunt for a late night dessert place. We found Syrup Desserts in downtown LA, our new hidden gem. We walked in ordered our desserts and walked upstairs to their "lounge area" I was walking up when I noticed a bunch of board games (the little girl in me came out) We chose to play connect 4, which by the way I suck at it LOL. The desserts were good, I had a crepe and Dennis had a waffle. Overall, the experience was a great!

Who says comfort can't be stylish?

It was such a nice day in the valley until the wind started blowing (hence the goosebumps on the close up pics LOL. When I was putting my outfit together I knew I wanted to play with colors. I grabbed this t-shirt and once again cut the collar (I'm a fan of off the shoulder t-shirts) I paired it with a bright blue fitted skirt and my neon sandals. I wanted to show off a little skin so I pulled my hair back into a messy bun.

I was at Dennis' house so Maddie wasn't with me :( but she says hi!

Never Fear Color

My perfume of choice for the day was Miss Dior Cherie. This is one of my faves and I am running super low on it. :(
My little Isabella took all my pictures for this post. She's a photographer in the making LOL

Hello all, this post is about color and how fun it is to wear it. I know a lot of people fear wearing color or don't know where to start, and my best advice is to start with your accessories and or nail polish and slowly start building your wardrobe with color.

I had a day of to do's so I decided to wear a pair of leggings, oversized top and flats to be confy. I accessorized with gold to add a little fabulosity to my outfit.

A pop of pink on a gloomy day!

My beautiful Isabella <3

It was such a gloomy day today in LA so I decided to wear the brightest shirt I can find :). I decided to cut the neckline so I can wear it on my shoulder and it wouldn't look like a plain t-shirt. I love the way it turned out. I accessorized my outfit with a fabulous statement necklace designed by jewelry designer Raquel Castillo, you can check all her one of a kind pieces here.

I get so many questions about how to dress up a t-shirt and this is perfect way. I took a plain boring shirt, cut the neckline and added a stunning statement necklace. The necklace took the outfit from simple to fabulous.
