Today we remember and celebrate una leyenda, el gran actor don Mario Moreno alias Cantinflas. I remember growing up watching his shows with my entire family. To celebrate his birthday I decided to go out to Target and purchase the movie Cantinflas along with some delicious popcorn to enjoy during the movie.
Mario Moreno was born el 12 de Agosto de 1911 and throughout his life he brought many carcajadas to people around the world and of all ages. As a child I grew up watching my father and uncles mimic that very unique Cantinflas dance, les encantaba Cantinflear. He created a signature look that everyone can recognize, su bigote, white tee, bandana around his neck and that oh so cute hat that looked like a taco on his head. Cantinflas became el orgullo de Mexico.
After watching his movie I learned that no matter how difficult life gets, always keep pushing and always, always be yourself. Y como decía el gran Cantinflas "Ahi esta el detalle"
