Red Lips & Leopard

I was so excited when Dennis bought me this oversized poncho at H&M. Not only is it super comfy but also very stylish. I love the combination of red and tan, which is why I did the red lips and red accent jewelry. The poncho would also look great belted (hmm maybe in my next post I will style it with a belt) but for this outfit I wanted it loose. What do you guys think?

I had to run to downtown to meet with some vendors and as I was driving around I came across this FAB graffiti wall that I thought would be perfect to shoot the pictures. I decided to wear something comfy but yet stylish. I knew I was going to be running around but still decided to wear my super FAB wedges that I just got. I am so obsessed with these shoes right! I based my outfit around my shoes, which is why I picked these distressed jeans to go with the edginess of the multiple straps on the shoes. One huge trend this summer/fall are maxis. I was super excited when I found this one because the length was perfect. When ever I shop for anything maxi I always have to alter it because I'm so petite but this skirt was purrf! (which by the way was my inspiration for my next project) I also loved the neutral sand color, I decided to pair it with a grey top to keep it with the family of neutrals and add a pop of color with my red lips. I loved the out come.

I never leave my house without these two things, hand sanitizer and my purse hook and I especially love both of these because they were given to me as a gift. (thank you primis <3)

On Wednesday it was my sisters 30th bday, she is my best friend and now maid of honor. I love her to death and I couldn't imagine my upbringing without her being a part of it. We decided to take her out to lunch/dinner. We didn't do anything major since my dad is in Mexico due to the passing of my grandpa :( but we made sure to at least do a little something. On saturday we will be celebrating with the family so I am sure I will have another blog post on that. Have a FABULOUS & safe weekend.

Birthday Weekend

Stephanie (Birthday girl) & I

We were all sitting around watching Obama as he spoke about Osama.

This weekend was full of birthday celebrations. The month of May is my craziest month when it comes to celebrating birthdays. May 1st is my cousin Stephanies b-day, May 2nd is my fiances sons b-day, May 3rd is my dads b-day and May 4th is my sisters.

On Friday I celebrated with my other cousin Carolinas bday, who's b-day was April 25th and Saturday I celebrated with both girls and today we had a bbq for Stephanies b-day. I love bbqs because the whole family gets together. All in all I had a blast!!!
