Busy, Busy, Bee!

This whole week has been crazy busy for me, (which is why I haven't updated my blog) but I'm not complaining because I am blessed to do what I love. Todays assignment consist of scouting locations for my upcoming shoot. I wanted something that looked vintage with a lot of personality, and I found just that in the heart of Old Town Orange. If you guys love antique shops you must visit the antique mall in Orange, Ca. Anywhoo, I was so happy when I walked in and saw exactly what I was looking for, it was a successful scouting trip! Princess for the day! (actually everyday but today he exaggerated) :)

I couldn't have asked for a better 26th birthday, I was surrounded by those I love and we had a great time. My day started off by driving to thee best little cafe I have ever been to, Toast Bakery Cafe. Oh Em Geee the food was so good and the cafe itself was super cute. After we had lunch we started driving, I wasn't sure where we were going I actually just thought we were heading to my parents house. As we were driving Dennis turned on Robertson blvd (I still didn't think anything of it) then he pulled up right in front of thee Christian Louboutin store and said "C'mon we are getting your bday gift" I was like "WHAT?!?!?" (I actually have footage of this, he was recording me the whole time LOL) We walked into what I like to call heaven on earth. The store was FABULOUS! I felt like saying can I have one of each in a 36 pls LOL. We walked around and came across some shoes that I loved with a price tag of $1,000 Dennis said 'are those the ones you want?" I looked at him as if he was insane "Ummm no babe you are not spending $1,000 on shoes" "It's your birthday, and if those are the ones you want those are the ones I'm buying you" he said. Luckily they didn't have my size. After trying a few pairs on I looked over at him and said, "babe I can't do this, I can't have you spend so much money on shoes" I decided to leave instead. I couldn't wrap my mind around spending so much money on a pair of shoes. Instead he gave me the money to go on a shopping spree :D. After he tried convincing me to get a pair we agreed on the shopping spree. We left and headed over to my parents house where my mom had made my favorite dish, tostadas de ensalada de pollo (chicken salad tostadas) I love these I can seriously eat like 10 in one sitting. Everyone was there and I had such a great time. I got fruit tarts as my cake bc on Saturday I am having my real cake. My cousins gave me thee cutest stuff. I am seriously obsessed! I am going to do a video on it, and my parents gave me a huge PINK rug for my closet. On Saturday I am having a party to celebrate once again another year of life. I am super excited about my party because it's going to be a masquerade theme party, can't wait!

Shoes, shoes & more shoes!

For the last couple of weeks I have been indulging in my favorite guilty pleasure, SHOES! I went over to Macys last week and fell in love with the Trixie Jessica Simpson heel (the tan ones). I said to myself "OMG these would look FAB with so many things, I must have them." I decided to hold off and go check out the clothing dept (which by the way I scored some great goodies) I must have gotten too excited with the clothes that I left Macys and didn't buy my shoes. I came home, super excited to show Dennis what I had gotten, he loved everything (that's always great bc he wont complain about how much I spent LOL) when it dawned on me that I forgot to buy the shoes, I was so sad. So the very next day I went back to buy them. But this time I fell in love with another pair (the pumps) I bought both of them immediately.

My shoe shopping addiction didn't stop there LOL I somehow managed to buy another 4 pairs in the course of 2 weeks (yikes). But it's ok, after all, a girl could NEVER have too many shoes. Which pair was your favorite?
